Sandra J. Taylor
Sandra began dancing at the age of six at the Keeling School of Dance, Birmingham whose Principal Beatrice Keeling is still teaching today. As a senior student of the school Sandra danced in cabaret across the country and in many shows and musicals before gaining her teaching qualifications at the age of eighteen. Sandra then went on to train as a Primary School teacher and to graduate in Fine Art, all the time continuing to dance and to be involved in performing/visual arts in many contexts. Sandra has danced with The London City Ballet whose patron was Diana Princess of Wales, and was privileged to perform in Giselle at the Theatre Royal Nottingham at their Gala performance attended by the Princess. Sandra is a life member of the I.D.T.A. and a member of the I.D.T.A. Anglia area committee. She also has a special interest in Greek and Bulgarian dance and has attended many seminars and workshops devoted to world/folk dance.
Sue Sparham
Sue began her training at the Sandra Taylor School of Dance. After completing a three year Performing Arts course gaining a diploma, Equity, and I.S.T.D./I.D.T.A. teaching qualifications in Ballet, Tap and Modern, Sue worked as a dancer in theatre, trade shows, cabaret and television before joining Soul/Motown show band "The Conmittments". The band tour England and Europe often supporting chart groups and Sue now combines this work with choreographing local and London showcases, lecturing at seminars, and teaching full and part time dance students. She recently travelled to Mumbai to film a Bollywood movie.
Lauren Taylor
Lauren began dancing at the age of three and has appeared in every show since the school began. She gained her teaching qualification in 2004 after having graduated in Graphic Design from Nottingham Trent University. After working as a freelance designer Lauren decided to focus on and pursue a career in dance and has brought new strengths to the school in Junior Theatrecraft classes and more recently Adult Ballet classes who are for the first time taking to the stage in Fusion 2007. Lauren has also launched a new branch of the school in the Lady Bay area, where she holds a thriving Junior Modern Jazz class. As well as playing a major part in the dance school Lauren is a successful freelance teacher of dance in the community visiting several schools at Junior and Secondary level and David Lloyd Leisure complex. She has appeared as a soloist with the Nottingham Symphony Orchestra and as a soloist in Karl Jenkins "The Armed Man" at the Albert Hall, Nottingham.
Tom Gribby
Tom Gribby continues to work as a dancer, choreographer, and teacher. Recent credits include: Dance Captain at Nottingham Christmas Company 2006, dancer on MTV’s "Bustamove", dancer in Bollywood film "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna", Choreographer for the Umbro fashion show, head of dance at Lincoln College, and regular teacher at both Derby and Nottingham Trent Universities. Tom is a member of the I.D.T.A. Anglia area committee.
