Text Box: Diary and Events   Nottingham Arts Theatre Dick Whittington Dance Auditions Please note new audition time Sunday 5th September 2010 10-1pm on the stage at Nottingham Arts Theatre    This year we are looking for girls and boys aged between 8 and 18 to dance in this year’s pantomime ‘Dick Whittington”   You will not have to prepare anything as we will all learn a routine together. Please come dressed to dance in whatever you feel comfortable in. Jazz shoes or dance trainers on feet please. For further information and to declare an interest please call Becky on 0115 947 5925 or email Becky@artstheatre.org.    NOTTINGHAM PLAYHOUSE AUDITIONS Auditions for 'Mother Goose' Requirements As a guideline to be of Grade 3 standard in dance It would be useful to have some basic acrobatics, but not compulsory To be able to respond quickly and accurately to the instructions from the choreographer To be aged between 13 (on or before 26/11/10) and 15 years (16th birthday to be on or after 23/11/11) To be available for costume fittings on 30th September and 7th October, rehearsals from 1st November - 20th November as required, for technical rehearsals from 22nd - 26th November and 22nd January 2011 according to a rota which will be available during the rehearsal period. Please note that due to the licensing rules the girls will not be able to swap performances with their double in the other team. There will be no payment for girls appearing as chorus/dancers in this production. They will be expected to abide by the rules and regulations of the theatre. Those wishing to attend the audition should come to the Stage Door, Nottingham Playhouse, Wellington Circus, Nottingham. Please report to Nottingham Playhouse at 5.00pm on FRIDAY 10th SEPTEMBER bringing ballet shoes, jazz shoes, tap shoes and appropriate dance wear.   Well done to all students involved in productions of ‘The King and I’ ‘The Billy Fury Show’ at Nottingham Arts Theatre – we thoroughly enjoyed the performances!!   CONGRATULATIONS!!
